T006-D05 — First direct player contact: Ridgeford reaches Claybank
- Type: CROSS_PLAYER / FIRST_CONTACT
- Affected: player1, player3
- Established facts: Claybank is about 24 km downstream of Ridgeford, within the submitted three-day limit. Ridgeford has two small boats and conditions its trip on local safety and food. Claybank remains at its own settlement, has a river worker and public measure keeper, and authorizes no trade surplus or external promise. The active recognized-bounds rule does not apply automatically to newcomers.
- Recommendation: The Ridgeford party reaches Claybank after both clans' local gates resolve. Venn, Miri, and Hobb receive Evin, Pell, and the witness at the bank. They exchange settlement names, roles, direct observations, and explicit nonpromises. - Recommendation: Bring in most remaining sound grain with one lower-quality/lost storm share and preserve the seed reserve. Adopt the five practices with accountability and willing-backup amendments. Retire the sole Hearthspeaker coordination role after the final account and choose two rotating seasonal conveners, initially Nessa and Beren, with no domain ownership. Extend matching Juniper restraint through first frost without title or access settlement. Record the leader as alive and voluntarily retired from exclusive office, not eliminated.

- Recommendation: Complete Northbarrow's smallest meaningful passage under identical public limits. A balk and shifted approach stone force a stop, reset, and longer crossing window without animal loss. Record the seasonal request as performed, preserve all future scheduling and closure requirements, and make the added maintenance burden visible. The deputy handles messages without coercion. After local gates clear, authorize the downstream party; its encounter is decided in T006-D05.
- Alternative: Approach movement closes the crossing after only part of the group, leaving the request safely attempted but not fully performed this season.

- Recommendation: Secure harvest and stores first; pass a substantial-rain inspection after one shallow correction; complete one safe final batch whose defects are no worse than the prior pilot; and record a demonstrated teachable small non-food terrace-firing capability under the compact. Adopt the four standing practices and give Rusk a future hearing without production authority. Record that the more seriously injured worker is unlikely to return to heavy clay hauling, with care and ordinary shares continuing. Resolve visitors separately in T006-D05.

Let Tovan candidly acknowledge one overfished Rushhook outlet pocket last summer, bounded to that place and season and creating no alliance or lake-wide rule.

Consolidated recommendation
Approve T006-D01 through T006-D06 as recommended. The package gives each clan an earned legacy and a real cost: Ridgeford's gate brings obligation; Hazelstead's succession gives up centralized command; Claybank's craft never erases injury; Merehaven's compact cannot repair the reserve hull or make its neighbor comfortable; and first contact arrives too late to manufacture a winner.
